Crivina

The Crivina treatment plant was designed at the beginning of the 90's for a capacity of 6 m³/s .The raw water sources is Arges river. A treated water aqueduct was constructed to transit the water from Crivina plant to the Bucharest distribution system.

The new Crivina project includes the completion of the treated water aqueduct from the treatment plant to the Dragomiresti hydro-technical node and the completion of the Crivina treatment plant for a supply capacity of 3 m³/s.

Key points of the project

The salient points of the project are as follows:

* Advanced technology

  • The process line already included modern processes such as the Ozone plant built by Trailigaz. The works has been done in close cooperation with Trailigaz engineers to adapt the ozone plant to the new design flow and to complete the plant to full operation
  • A complete range of chemical dosing plant was build in order to support operator in controlling flocculation and pH value
  • Settling is implemented through proprietary MULTIFLOW 300® system

* Full automation of the plant

The proposed design of the control system is fully automated using internationally practice-approved regulation mechanism. These features will enable Apa Nova Bucharest to operate the plant with minimum staff

* Optimal mix of international & local suppliers

Most of the equipments are supplied locally, but key-components for the process control are imported from Europe manufacturers. Therefore spare parts availability and replaceable activities are guaranteed.

* Flexibility and robustness

The robust design and the careful selection of suppliers guarantee high reliability of operations.

Stand by equipments has been installed and each treatment stage is composed of at least two lines enabling a greater flexibility of maintenance without interrupting the production.
