Baia Mare DWTP

The rehabilitation project for Baia Mare Water Treatment Plant has reconsidered the entire initial treatment process, introducing modern procedures and integrating a substantial part of the existing ones in order to obtain a treatment system duly adapted to the raw water quality and to the treated water requirements in accordance with Law 458/2002 and EC Directive 98/83/EC.

The main rehabilitation works of the plant refer to:

  • Introducing a new settlement step in the technological process;
  • Facilities for sludge treatment;
  • Introducing a control, automation and data system.
