In order to continue the modernisation of Arcuda Drinking Water Treatment Plant, Apa Nova Bucuresti concluded a contract with the association Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies - Triada Prod Impex for the design, the execution, the installation and the commissioning of a Sludge Treatment Plant. The Contract duration is 36 months and the value is 33,886,629 lei (7,971,636 euros). The Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies part is 74.88% of the Contract value.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Romania has signed this November 2010 a contract of 42.8 Million RON / approximately 10 Million Euro for the refurbishment of a drinking water treatment plant for the local water operator of the city of Medias.

After 36 months work, Thursday, 7th of October 2010 took place, the inauguration of Baia Mare wasted water treatment plant located in the county of Maramureş (Romania).

Baia mare DWTP was first inaugurated in 1967. The rehabilitation project of Baia Mare DWTP was begun by SC OTV FRANCE , member of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, in September 2006, and finalised in September 2009.

Soufflet Waste Water Treatment Plant is located in the eastern part of Buzau industrial area, inside the malt factory of Buzau.

In order to fullfill the parameters imposed for industrial effluents discharge into natural receptors, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Romania realized the WasteWater Treatment Plant for Soufflet Malteries. The project is a design and built of a treatment plant specifically adapted to this type of influent, using best suitable technologies, in order to comply with NTPA001 normes for discharge of the treated water into Buzau river.

The Crivina treatment plant was originally constructed with a capacity of 3 m³/s and a spare capacity up to 6 m³/s. It was a part of an overall plan including Rosu treatment plant, a dam and storage reservoir on Arges River and a raw water aqueduct between the dam and Crivina plant. A treated water aqueduct was constructed to transit the water from Crivina plant to the Bucharest distribution system...
