The French group Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies is present on the Romanian market through the brand OTV Romania Apa (Omnium de Traitement et de Valorisation) as the technical subsidiary specialised in municipal applications. Starting the 24th of July 2009, OTV Romania Apa changed its name to Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Romania.
For the Industrial field of activity, Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Romania can provide solutions ranging from small laboratory systems to turn-key design & build projects.
Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies Romania started the works of rehabilitation and upgrading of the drinking water treatment plant in the municipality of Mioveni, site of the Dacia factory in Romania.
After 36 months work, Thursday, 7th of October 2010 took place, the inauguration of Baia Mare wasted water treatment plant located in the county of Maramureş (Romania).
Baia mare DWTP was first inaugurated in 1967. The rehabilitation project of Baia Mare DWTP was begun by SC OTV FRANCE , member of Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, in September 2006, and finalised in September 2009.
